SCS, INC. DF108: Rod guide ring / bearing, “U-Shaped” style for heavy duty hydraulic and piston pneumatic applications. Special centered bearing groove arrangement on the inside diameter secures against axial movement. Can be spirally compressed inwards for fitting into the piston where it springs back out into corresponding installation grooves. Can be modified with a integrated space saving wiper ring, as in Hunger Hydraulics® “FA” bearing ring profile. Outstanding for extreme pressure loads in single and multiple rings arranges adjacent to each other. The number of guide rings required depends on the expected side loads. Available in split and non-split configurations. Excellent for large extrusion gaps and large piston applications. A preferred design in combination with a piston crown seal, used in undersized “GCG” , “SPPP” and SWPP” re-chromed rods, while using original rod to control extrusion. Extremely adaptive possibilities for diverse temperatures and media with a wide selection of seal materials. Suitable for operating capabilities in all oscillating and rotary applications. Available in standard, metric and custom sizes from 0-200″ in diameter.
